what's on for yrna?

Through the 2024 YRNA Fun Run we were able to raise over $30,000, which will be used to support our upcoming projects. These include the introduction of our school based peer-support programs and our event mental health first aid.

Schools
Our school based programs continue to grow, and thanks to the support of our generous donors, we are able to provide these programs completely free to over 10,000 school-aged children around the state. By providing these programs for free, basic knowledge around 'how to help a friend' becomes feasible and easily accessible.

Mental Health First Aid
YRNA is leading an Australian first program, changing the way in which mental health concerns are dealt with at major events around South East Queensland. Watch this space!

Supporting you and those around you

Whether you want to understand more about how you're feeling and find ways to feel better, or you want to support someone who's struggling, we can help.

dID YOU SEE OUR launch video?

  • What is mental health?
We all have mental health, just like we all have physical health. It’s about how we think, feel and act. Sometimes we feel well, and sometimes we don’t. When our mental health is good, we feel motivated and able to take on challenges and new experiences. But when our mental health is not so good, we can find it much harder to cope.
  • Is 'You Are Not Alone' a charity?

  • Where do donations to 'You Are Not Alone' go?
All of your donations (including purchases of merchandise and tickets for events) are being used to fund our running costs, such as running our website and creating new projects such as school programs.
  • Where can I donate?
At this stage, we do not have a donation portal. Please email hello@yrna.com.au if you have any enquiries
  • How can I volunteer?
